Tiny Tigers

The Tiny Tigers program for young children ages 2-5 is designed to enhance students' attention through high-energy, and active learning drills.

We keep the pace of class fast and fun while maintaining discipline, focus, and self-control. Kids as young as 2 years old learn basic martial arts skills and techniques in a safe, and age friendly classroom environment.

 We use lots of positive praise to reward good behavior, as well as to encourage good effort and good manners. We also make sure that young children understand that martial arts is not for fighting or being combative, and that they should only use their moves in class.

 The Tiny Tigers program provides many benefits both physically and mentally for young children, and helps them grow up strong, confident and safe.


Kids Karate

As a parent, you know the great potential your child has within. But sometimes you worry they wont make the most of their natural blessing. Maybe your child can’t focus long enough to get things done. Maybe he doesn’t have enough self-control. Or they’re shy and overwhelmed by self-doubt. That’s where Karate can give your child an edge.

 At Scruggs Karate we are passionate about what we do because, we notice how effective Martial Arts can be in a child’s life. Scruggs` Karate kids program has a world-class curriculum teaching character development and Self Defense. Students also compete in regional competitions and always finish in the tops of there division.

 Scruggs Karate starts all children ages 6 & up children in our kids beginner program. Our program focuses on pushing children to do their best, improving their skills, and aim high to reach their next goals of accomplishment. Your child will get a great workout and become more physically fit. Our kid’s program teaches effective self-defense techniques so that they won’t be victims of bullying or fights.
